That's what Homer said. I see the idiocy of it, now. Let us save him from himself and say
'And so at last long-suffering Odysseus yielded to his weariness and slept there*: while Athene' (or something of the sort)
I don't use any obsolete words, I think, or even archaic words - or I hope I don't! The thing tries to be straightforward.
As I said, l shouldn't bother to correct any misprints. They are accidents, obviously, and not intentions.
